OMGFINALLY. *pantpant*
It's done, and the time is 3:31 EST now...
...after 57 hours of work.

This behemoth digital vectorized RAM-raper is for a contest at my high school. The contest has a graffitti theme, and basically that's it for the theme. Anyone can enter.
It can be in any media... which means I would choose digital, of course. Which was such a stupid idea... cuz the minimum size you could do was 22"x28". So I had to make the quality good enough to print over that size. The dimensions for the fullsized image are 11.5"x17.5" in photoshop, meaning I'll have to print at twice the size to make it work. Everything's in vectors, though, so quality won't be an issue.
But it makes for an obnoxiously huge file... the psd is 53MB and even the jpeg is 9MB! D:
Pretty annoying stuff.

All-in-all, I'm proud of this. The colors make me happy, and the color transition took some serious thought. It seems to make an incredibly busy composition seem more organized. There's loads of contrast, and a lot of gradient work. The focal point is supposed to be the girl's face; let me know if your eyes don't automatically land there.

If you didn't catch on, this picture has a very obvious music theme. ^^;
I had fun incorporating all the music stuff in. I especially like the treble clef and notes in the very bottom left.

No references were used, except with the tiger's pose, the guitar, and one of the amps. Everything else is free-range.

SO. If you survived those last paragraphs, I'd like to ask for harsh critique and suggestions before I have to turn this in at the first of May. Let me know what you think!

.. man, I've always praised your layouts, and this one is.. even more awesome. I love the colours you used, and the way you pieced it all together.. it's not just random swirls and a few paint spatters.. it just fits so well together.. and it's so interesting to look at! I love how it expands and it does have a central focus point on the girl, despite there being so much to look at. The tiger also catches my eye, and the two guys down the bottom ^__^

Very professional and interesting.

You have a real keen eye and talent for visual layouts and design, so I'm positive you'll do heaps well 8D Keep it up!!

This is outstanding! I love every bit of it! So shiny and pretty and cool and junk~
I keep staring at it to think of a suggestion to make it better, but i can't find one. Forserious! Maaaaaybe an outline to make the girl stand out a bit more, but that's only if you REALLY want to make changes. XD

Peanutbutter Christ on a Stick, this is great. I honestly can't find something to critique. This would make an awesome mural on a wall somewhere.
